HAYME ALEGRE studied Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - MNL Campus. He garnered national distinction as one of the Eagle Scout of the Philippines awardee in 2014, the highest rank awarded in the field of scouting. In 2018, he was the President of Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Bukluran sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino, an academic organization that aims to understand, develop, and disseminate the discipline of Filipino Psychology within and outside the academy. In 2019, he served as the Chairperson of Sandigan ng Mag-aaral para sa Sambayanan (SAMASA – PUP), the oldest and broadest political alliance in PUP System. In 2020, he is the Head Convener of UNITED PUP, an alliance that forwards the right to education, peace, and sovereignty within the PUP System. In 2021, he was the National Coordinator of Tulong Kabataan Network, a relief network that established and responds to the urgent needs of the calamity-affected communities. He is currently, the Deputy Chief of Staff of Kabataan Partylist, the sole genuine youth representation in Philippine Congress.
